Why you should not compare yourself to others?



-> Just a moment before, I was comparing myself to other people like: Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos..etc And I was thinking that they all are intelligent and I am not.., they all have ability to catch up everything very fast but I am not having.
At that time I was feeling guilty and shame on myself.
but just after that, I realized one thing which I have been telling people but I am not doing it..And that is “Not compare yourself to anybody in this field”.., yes,
I realized one thing that he is bill gates or zeff bezos only because of their hard work.., while I am doing just a simple work and I am doing those things which are already known to people.
Then, I thought, how was I before some months and how I am right now?
when I compared myself to myself of past, I got to know that, “Now, I am better than before”.
see, everyone on this planet is different even though we are same in looking, same in taking actions, same in most of the things..but still you and I and everyone on this planet is different and we all have our own potential to live in this world.
whenever you compare yourself to anybody surrounding you or others, you will always get demotivated or motivated based on person with whom you are comparing yourself.
for example, suppose I know mathematics very well and you don’t know about it, now, when you compare yourself with me, you will always get demotivated and feel jealous from me that’s the bitter reality.
but suppose, you know computer programming very well and I compare myself with you, I also get demotivated and may feel jealous from you.., just because this is the bitter reality.
Then what should you do?
-> You just have to do one thing:
– have a pen and page.
– make two columns
– give title “My skills before 5 months” to one column and “My skills right now” to another column
– now, just make a big list of it
– and compare your results.., this is the proper way to know who you were and who you are right now.
or another thing, just think about your self.., and write all things which tells you your bad/good habits of before and now.., and just compare that result.
guys, you would think: ohh..! I already knew it.., but my dear friends, just knowing about this won’t help you ever, you have to implement it in your life, at least once.
